Whenever we watch a video on Facebook, the other video plays automatically. This consumes more mobile data. However, if you wish, you can turn this feature off. This will play the same video you want to watch.

How to Save Internet data during Coronavirus Lockdown:

  1. First, you have to go to your Facebook menu.
  2. After that go to Settings & Privacy
  3. Click on Settings. After that,
  4. you have to scroll down to go to Media and Contacts.
  5. Then click on Autoplay.
  6. Now you will get three options out of which one option will be Never Auto-Play Videos. Tap on it.
  7. Thereafter, Facebook videos will not play automatically. However, if your phone’s battery is low, Facebook turns off its own auto-play video.

Turn off the auto-play feature of Facebook like this on the desktop: Here too you will have to go to the menu and go to settings. Here you will find the option of videos at the bottom left. Please click on it. After this, turn off the option of Auto-Play Videos. This will not automatically play Facebook videos.
